Dr. Johnson received
his Bachelors Degree from BYU and his Medical Degree
from University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He
completed his pediatric residency and neonatology
fellowship at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio,
TX. Dr. Johnson is board certified in pediatrics
and neonatology. He opened Alpine Pediatrics in
1997. Dr. Johnson has a particular interest in newborn
care, but enjoys all aspects of pediatrics. He and
his wife Joan have seven children and twenty one
grandchildren. In his free time he enjoys gardening,
landscaping and spending time with his grandchildren. |

Brett K. Knorr, M.D. |
Dr. Knorr obtained
his Bachelors Degree from BYU and his Medical Degree
from University of Utah Medical School. He did his
pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin
in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Knorr is board certified
in pediatrics. He joined Alpine Pediatrics in 1999.
Dr. Knorr has a special interest in sports medicine.
He and his wife Gina have four children. Dr. Knorr
really enjoys fishing, boating and spending time
with his family. |

D. Todd Whiting, M.D. |
Dr. Whiting received
his Bachelors Degree from BYU and his Medical Degree
and MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Whiting completed his pediatric residency at
St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Dr.
Whiting is board certified in pediatrics. He joined
Alpine Pediatrics in 2000. Dr. Whiting is especially
interested in asthma and newborn care. He and his
wife Christy have five children. Dr. Whiting’s
hobbies include golfing and spending time with his
wife and children. |

Greg M. Pavich, M.D. |
Dr. Pavich received
his Bachelors and Medical Degrees from the University
of Utah. He completed his pediatric residence at
Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. Dr. Pavich
is also a board certified pediatrician. He joined
Alpine Pediatrics in 2002. Dr. Pavich has a special
interest in asthma, diabetes, and children who are
developmentally delayed and have behavioral disorders.
He and his wife Marie have four children. In his
free time, Dr. Pavich enjoys golfing, mountain biking,
gardening, and spending time with his family. |

Bradley C. Arnold, M.D. |
Dr. Arnold obtained
his Bachelors Degree from BYU and his Medical Degree
from Emory University Medical School in Atlanta,
GA. He did his pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies
Hospital in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Arnold is board certified
in pediatrics. Dr. Arnold joined Alpine Pediatrics
in 2002. Dr. Arnold particularly enjoys sports medicine
and asthma, but loves all aspects of pediatrics.
He and his wife Kristin have five children. Dr.
Arnold’s hobbies include skiing, camping,
hiking, basketball, volleyball and spending time
with his family. |

William F. Edwards, M.D. |
Dr. Edwards received
his Bachelors Degree from BYU and his Medical Degree
from University of Utah Medical School. He completed
his pediatric residence at Keesler Air Force Base
in Mississippi. Dr. Edwards is board certified in
pediatrics. He joined Alpine Pediatrics in 2004.
Dr. Edwards has a special interest in asthma, allergies,
and ADHD. He and his wife Cheryl have four sons.
Dr. Edwards enjoys running, hiking, and camping. |

Weston E. Spencer, M.D.

Dr. Spencer received
his Bachelors Degree from BYU and his Medical Degree
from Pennsylvania State University in Hershey, PA.
He completed his pediatric residency at Stanford
University Medical Center in California. Dr. Spencer
joined Alpine Pediatrics in 2006. He enjoys all
aspects of pediatrics with particular interest in
cardiology and hematology. Dr. Spencer and his wife
Emily have four children. His hobbies include camping,
mountain biking, woodworking, and spending time
with his family. |

Chris Foster, M.D.

Dr. Foster Dr. Foster received his B.S. Degree from BYU and his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed his residency at the University of Arizona, followed by a 2 year fellowship specializing in neonatology. He enjoys caring for sick and well infants and helping them make a healthy transition into an active and healthy childhood. He and his wife Mikelle have 2 girls and a boy. Dr. Foster enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors. |

Beverly L. Vargo, M.D. |
Dr. Vargo obtained
her Bachelors Degree at University of Michigan and
her Medical Degree from Baylor College of Medicine
in Houston, TX. She completed her pediatric residency
at University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.
Dr. Vargo is board certified in pediatrics. She
joined Alpine Pediatrics in 2001. Dr. Vargo loves
adolescent medicine and dermatology, and enjoys
all aspects of pediatrics. She and her husband Dan
live in Salt Lake City. When away from the office,
Dr. Vargo likes to go fly fishing, hiking, and skiing. |
